LSX Engine adapter adapter Plates

The Vetteworks LSX001X adapter plates will adapt the GM LS Gen. III , Gen. IV small-block engines four-bolt mount boss to the early three-bolt style engine mounts. Plate feature cut-out so OE 3-bolt style plate will fit without distortion. Note: This bracket will drop back LSX engines 1 inch back from where our LS1001 adapter bracket position. This adapter kit will work allow the installation of a LS engine into Corvettes (C2, C3), first Gen Camaro, and Nova, Etc . The adapter plates position the LSx engine so the OE transmissions can still be used. A Borg warner T10 will be within an 1/8 inch from its original position. This bracket works best for LSX engines with Early T566 speed manual transmission for C3 Corvettes. It allows the shifter fit in the center of the factory console. All adapter plates are Laser machined and powder-coated Black. They also come with the necessary hardware to mount the early 3-bolt style engine mounts.
